HEY SIS! Years ago, I stepped into entrepreneurship with a fire in my heart — but I also carried exhaustion, questions, and the deep desire for a sisterhood community that would say, “You’re not alone.” ​ After having spent decades building and managing finance departments for other entrepreneurs, I found myself completely burnt out. I was overworked, under-supported, and silently wondering, “Where is the help for women like me?” ​That question led me on a healing journey of discovering Radical Self-Love and it challenged everything I thought I knew about success. I stopped performing and reimagined what business could look like when it was rooted in wholeness, joy, and self-honor. Although Black women are the faster growing group of entrepreneurs, statistics show that less than 2% of us receive funding, and only about 3% of our businesses make it beyond 5 years. I'm passionate about changing this!​ At the heart of my work is a reverence for the sacrifices my ancestors made just so I could exist, speak, and lead. I carry them with me in every room I enter — and I refuse to let their legacy be in vain. ​ I created the Women of Color in Business platform to serve as the space I needed when I was searching and feeling alone. Here our mission is to reduce burnout, offer compassionate accounting solutions, introduce resources, and support the mental and spiritual health of Black female founders. ​ Because Sis, the sacrifices made for us were not so we would barely survive, we are meant to BLOOM! ​ Lovingly, ~Linette
